SOLVED- Firefox will not sandbox

I tried to sandbox FF 18 and received a message suggesting the profile folder has restrictions (attached). I looked that the folders and didn’t see anything that would disallow access or anything odd.

Chrome works, so it’s FF and avast! related and seems to be somewhat recent. A few months ago it worked fine.

I didn’t see anyone having this problem, so does any body have any ideas about this?

Thanks!

I have mine sandboxed with a few addons, so I’m not sure what the problem is with yours, is your FF up to date?

You could try to clean your temporary sandbox files in the avast settings.

Running current ver of FF 18.

Cleaning didn’t help. But thanks for the suggestions.

Maybe a fresh install of Firefox could help?

I still don’t know what was wrong, but reinstalling FF seems to have fixed it.

That’s good to hear.
