Hi,
My computer’s internet was running slowly and a browser opened up with some “PAY FINE” message so I closed the browser and did a full-scan of the computer. It found a fake-lock so Avast insisted I do a boot-time scan. So after some time it found PUPS (2 Somoto-J, 2 Somoto-P). It’s now in the Virus Chest.
Is there anything else I should do or am I safe now?
You may do a scan with Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner…and let them remove what they find, if anything
I’ve scanned with Malware Bytes and nothing has shown. I’ve clean with Adw Cleaner and it deleted a few things mostly to do with Google Chrome (Search providers).
