Some junk found on old external hard drive?

A while ago I tried in my old external hard drive that I used with my old computer few years back and ran Avast scan on it. On the first scan it showed 10 infected files in it’s System Volume Information folder with 3 different kind of infections:

Win32:Mywebsearch-R[PUP]
Win32:Mywebsearch-Q[PUP]
Win32:Funweb-B[PUP]

I (seemingly) managed to safely remove those infections since they didn’t reappear in next scan, but instead I found this:

J:/Systen Volume Information/restore{E03DCB5B-2362-4169-9AAE-51F5672BD863}/RP67/A0017144.EXE|SETUP.WZ|>WINZIP32.EX
Error: Archive is password protected (42056)
I remember having Winzip installed in my previous computer and it having some unscannable files similar to this one, but I remember them dissappearing when my old computer removed it’s old restore points. I then tried to clear my external hard drive’s restore points via System Properties, but the drive wasn’t visible in the list with my C: and D: drives so I figured that system backup wasn’t even usable in that external hard drive. Next I went to “Show hidden folders and files”, but I noticed that my computer didn’t show neither of my hard drive’s (C:'s nor external’s) System Volume Information folders…

Can someone possibly tell me if the file shown could be somehow malicious/dangerous and what could I do to try to get rid of it?

EDIT: I submitted my problem to one Finnish computer management forum and got some instructions about removing SVI files from external hard drives, but I’m still curious about those infections I found and them possibly being baldy malicious. Does anyone have any information about them?

Not infections / PUP = Possible Unwanted Programs, usually crap that comes bundled with free programs like toolbars, search engines, new start pages …

Potentially unwanted https://www.virusbtn.com/resources/glossary/potentially_unwanted.xml

J:/Systen Volume Information
since they are located in restore points i would just delete them, and since they belong to a old computer it is not something you have any need for

I know, but right now I have difficulties accesing external hard drive’s System Volume Information folder to delete them.

since you say it is years old, do you have anything on it you need? If not maybe format drive

It seems to be OK now, some guys at Finnish computer forum gladly handed over some advice which to delete my external hard drive’s SVI folder, and Avast doesn’t detect any password protected files anymore ;D

It is not a detection but a scan error message
