Sony CLie' PDA version problem with demo

Hi,

I attempted to install the Latest build for download on the Avast site
of Avast PDA version for Palm OS, with MS OS
on my Sony Clie’ PEG-UX50/U using my Tablet OS 2005 PC(SP2)
When I got to the point to choose enter key or demo, I chose Demo, but the
Enter License Key, came up right after…It wont even install on the clie’ !!!

The Avast Pocket PC 2002+ version worked fine on my iPAQ 3670 with Ver. 3.0 (2002)
on it, and I am evaluating it on that one.

I would like to see how it works on my Clie’ before I purchase it, and I’ve seen other having install issues with a purchased key, has this been resolved?

The Clie’ has WiFi built in, and I don’t want to be surfing the web, without a working AV protection. I am tired of connecting these devices to a PC, to do a Virus scan on the Device & the 256MB Sony MEM stick, as well as the 512MB CF on the iPAQ
(I just got a CF WiFi card for the external bay)

I’m also looking for firewall solutions for both of these, does avast sell PDA versions
for Pocket PC & Palm OS?

Hi,

I got the PDA version on the Clie’ when it popped up that it was a 60 Demo, I copied that key & tried to put it in as the key the Windows portion is asking for to update, but it says it is invalid.

Does the demo, not update for the 60 period on the Palm OS?
It does on the Pocket PC 2002+ version!
