I just d/l and installed v4, which is my first test of avast…
When I d/l my email, avast immediately causght a virus – GOOD – but stopped, and a voice asked me what to do.
How or where do I just tell avast to move infected files to ( …) and do it silently?

Why not read the help and make yourself familiar with the options Avast is offering the user?
Only thing you have to do is set Avast to run in silent mode.

You’re right of course… bu that (silent mode) and getting that icon that flashes while it checks mail turned off I need to do straight away, as it totally screws up the email in function…
