Spam getting through

Hi Forum,

First let me say that I got my upgrade to avast! Internet Security 5.0 working perfectly. Thank you tech support! Second, Prague is one of my favorite cities.

I am having a small problem with a spammer who seems to know how to punch through Outlook and avast. He changes his domain name daily. His e.mail messages are all image files. One of the image files has an address in San Diego, CA 92126. But since it is an image file I cannot block it based on content.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Bob

only thing you can do is report it to your mail provider…oh yeah, if it’s really bad and you can’t get rid of it, you can try (at your own risk) Spamihilator (runs very well on POP, avoid IMAP with it). As to Avast spam filter, it does something with outlook, ie move spam to junk folder. I’m on thunderbird and it’s just able here to mark the subject line as spam, nothing gets moved to the spam folder so I just deactivated avast spam filter.

Hi Robert Schuldenfrei,

Could you find out where he hides out, robtex? Where is he blacklisted?
