Hi All,
Just installed a new USB DVD external burner, and now my Avast spinning globe thingy has vanished :o
I have also noticed that there are no Avast files loaded at startup (there were before but don’t know which one’s)
Win XP shows however that the Avast antivirus in ‘on’
Avast version 4.6.603. Resident Scanner status set to ‘high’
PLEASE bring my spinning globe back !!! 
Sorted - uninstalled and re-installed Avast … now my registration key won’t work !! :-[
Just strange why it all disappeared in the first place ???
Copy/paste the key. Make sure there is no trailing space.
This is the second problem with the Registration key today…
I suspect the robot (or the authenticator) has problems… :

WONT work The reg key I mean … Sigh
If this is the home version, get a new key from the website and try that one.
Use preferably another email address than you used to get this key.
