What do you mean misdetect, e.g. you feel avast should detect it (not shown on VT results) and it should or it is detecting it and you believe it is a false positive ?

A google search on SpyNoMore mainly finds that it doesn’t live up to the hype, but why it would be incorporated into the Acronis_True_Image_10.0_Home.exe is beyond me.
I think it is a malware and avast is not detecting it. But, of course, I’m not sure.
Tech, these not-a-virus detections (mostly coming from Kaspersky and Avira) are almost worthless (and quite stupid and annoying in many cases)… we’re the antivirus (antimalware), not a file advisor… there’s no point of interest in detecting keygens, remote admins, mIRC, ServU, PSTools, Baidu bar etc. like others do… each time we’ve tried to add a detection for Zango e.g., we were pushed to remove the detection immediately…
