SSL/TLS

Avasti is telling me it can’t check for viruses because of secure connection.

Tells me to disable SSL/TLS in my email client.

I have no idea what this means or how to do it.

Anybody know??

Well, firstly I would ask…are you even using a Mail Client (Outlook/Thunderbird)?

Just disable SSL/TLS and avast! will check your email for you.

That sentence may be easily misunderstood. You meant to disable SSL in the email client application, and enable it in avast. In addition, the OP needs specific instructions, as he doesn’t know exactly how to achieve that. That’s why a link was already posted, so to follow the KB instructions.
