Startup manager utility for windows xp

Advanced Windows Care used to have a nice one but it seems kinda diferent now, doesnt even show detail and when i click on something and then aply, it asks for a bak file to create, after that says it couldnt move file or something.

Any beter utility for managing startup of windows?

Hello Otaku Ichise

you can type msconfig in run command and go to startup tab or better option:

autoruns (ms sys internals) : http://www.filehippo.com/download_autoruns/

ccleaner which has options to disable, enable and delete. : ccleaner.com

There is a built in one in Winpatrol.

Autoruns is for advanced users. You’ll see.
Try Startup Delayer.
This freeware controls the windows startup (Windows 98\Me\2k\XP\Vista) that does not follow a strict order and in the “Advanced Mode” allows deletion of an item.

Startup Delayer is built into WinPatrol +1

Stay away from msconfig as it has the capability of making the system un-bootable.
