I am reaching out to the forum for assistance in getting an update on a refund request I submitted on July 28, 2018 for the Avast Total cleanup that was auto renewed for $49.99 on the same day. I had used the trial product and was not aware it would auto renew. A few weeks(around July 19th) prior I actually purchased the Avast Total Cleanup from Avast for $29.99 thinking that would supercede the trial version that was installed .
Thus I was suprised was when the trial version was converted to a license as there is no need for me to have 2 licenses for the same product . I immediately requested a refund via the Avast website and was given ticket number 06927827. As of today, I have not received any reply nor a refund to my Paypal account for 49.99.
I don’t want to submit multiple tickets as i know it would put me to the back of the line but i do need to get my money back. I would appreciate any assistance with my pending ticket resolved. Thank you
