I’ve just installed the mobile security app on my new phone but it appears to be only a 14 day trial. This wasn’t the case on my old phone and I don’t have any premium features.
Do I have to register in some way or is the basic app no longer free?

Hi lucD, what version did you use previously? We have switched to a freemium model quite a while ago, so since 2016 the Pro features have been paid. Did you have a valid licence before (on your old phone)?
I used the free version on my old phone. As far as I can tell, I’ve installed the free version on my new phone (which is what I want) - the pro features aren’t available and it shows ads. The problem is that the program currently says “Trial ends in 13 days”.
The 14 day trial is for the Pro version/features.
No idea why it doesn’t work for you, wait for Tereza.
I’m not really interested in the pro features, just concerned that the app doesn’t stop working altogether after two weeks.

What you have installed is a free version, which won’t stop working, no worries.
The 14-day trial is a standard feature of the free version now. You won’t be charged anything, the trial Pro version simply expires and you will continue with the standard free version. I hope the explanation helps.
