send in a password protected zip file to virus@avast.com and write the password in the mail
also upload the file to VirusTotal www.virustotal.com if it has been scanned before click new scan
when you have the result, copy the URL in the adressbar and post it here.
You may do this before you post it so you can include the virutotal result in the mail
Ok will do that. I also have the new scanned report from virustotal
A little confused to what the result is.
That would be clean ( noting is 100% ) no scanners detected it…
If you have Malwarebytes installed, right click the file and scan…update before you do…

Seems clean. Yet when I download the full version software Avast reports it asa Virus. Its also hosted on download.com and from there too its reported as a virus.
I think its safe to proceed with installing the software.
was it the full version you sendt to VirusTotal ? If not upload it…the we can see if more than avast detect it.
…maks 20mb file size
I uploaded the lite version. Avast blocks the download of the full version. So I cant upload the full version to be scanned.
I also cannot email avast the lite version becuase its 11mb, Hotmail only allows upto 10mb.
Eh, must be one of those junky toolbars again (would help if you actually wrote what avast detected). Keep the lite version and move on.
can you post the URL to were the download is
make it unclickabel hxxp and not http
I also cannot email avast the lite version becuase its 11mb, Hotmail only allows upto 10mb.one more reason for using Gmail.... ;D

Go to PROFILE then Modify Profile then Forum Profile Information then Signature: and put information about your system just like my signature about your system just like my signature so that the helpers can offer pertinent advice.
The full version which Avast reports as Virus/Infected is at this url

40,5mb so to big for uploading to any online scanner…
Well, looking at the very first comment on that page:
Nags you to install their own browser search bar.
Avast reports nothing until you’ve enabled PUP detection, then you get this, presumably it includes some password revealer or whatnot… Also, toolbar crap bundled and checked by default.
HttpVideoDownloader.dll scan results from VT…
Enough with this junk collection; nothing malicious there.
