Is virus@avast.com the correct email for malware submissions?
You can upload files and report issues to avast here : http://www.avast.com/contact-form.php (select subject according to Your case)
You can use mail
send to virus@avast.com in a password protected zip file
mail subject: False Positive / undetected sample (select subject according to your case)
zip password: infected
or you can send files from avast chest

Is it possible to use subject different than “undetected sample”? For example “suspicious file”?
It is probably better to use undetected sample as some words in the subject trigger filtering into a auto checking process. Using something different, could mean it doesn’t get picked up for this first stage of auto analysis.
But if you feel it is suspicious, then there is surely a suspicion it is an undetected sample.
I already submitted some files as “Suspicious file”, that’s why I was asking. I’ll use “undetected sample” from now on.
