well, not really wanting to take a leaf out of norton, but they use a similar feature to filerep, i.e. file insight

it seems that they both are similar in producing false positives on lesser known programmes by unknown developers (assuming that the programme is safe)

so is it possible to implement something like norton did?

Avast is a huge company are you sure they do not have whitelist program?

It was a typo, I apologize. Any other input from the avast reps on to why this is not something Avast does?
