Super G Wireless adapter disabled by Avast until a reboot of Win7, Rinse,Repeat

I have a wireless adapter, a D-Link DWL-G132 Super G(108Mbps) USB adapter and on another PC that I’d moved the hdd from I had a Netgear WG311T Super G PCI wireless card installed and on both PCs the adapters would wind up disabled and I’m convinced that Avast is doing this, I have ethernet on the PC that’s disabled and when the wireless goes disabled by itself, I try and renable the D-Link adapter and Win7 says Enabling and then nothing, while the ethernet connection is never affected at all, In Device manager the D-Link DWL-G132 is not disabled the whole time…

The driver is from D-Link via Windows Update and is dated Aug 8th 2008(v2.2.0.271) and is as up to date as Windows Update can make It and It’s 108Mbps compatible too, earlier drivers produce only 54G and there is no newer driver available and I like 108G better than 54G. I’m using Avast 6.0.1289, According to the link below, Avast is at fault and I like Avast, please fix this or I may have to look elsewhere for a more wireless friendly AV program…

I’ve disabled the Web Shield and Network Shield of course, It’s that or sometime on Wednesday My wireless would be disabled by Avast and I don’t like that at all, this is something that only happened in the last two weeks and I’ve been using the same hardware and OS for longer than that.

I just run the Windows 7 Pro x64 firewall, nothing special really, The PC does do work for Seti@Home a Boinc project, My PC is also as up to date as I can make It and that includes the motherboard Bios too.

Super G is two bonded 54G channels and Avast treats 108 as a threat, a false positive at that, It wasn’t always this way, Avast for a long time behaved and didn’t bother My wireless setup…

Please fix this possible Bug

I’ve also Disabled avast the self-defense module as mentioned here, As My wireless access is important, Avast is buggy currently…
