SVT.se not working after the latest update.

Hi,

my wife is using the payed version of AVAST and after the latest update she can’t reach the public broadcasters news site unless she turns off AVAST.
Version is latest as of yesterday and the operating system is Windows 10.

Site address is: xww.svt.se
Disabling AVAST makes everything work.

page loads normally for me. Is there some avast’s related alert window? If yes, post a screenshot of it, please.

We get no “warnings/alerts” at all. Could any logs be of interest?

We’ve tried in Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Avasts own browser - no luck. As soon as Avast is turned off - boom - it works immediately.
Sometimes Chrome manage to load the HTML-framework (certain lines / dividers come up) then it times out.

Hello,
does any other page which uses HTTPS loads? Can you try disabling https scanning? Go to Settings → Components → Web Shield → Customize → Main Settings and here untick “Enable HTTPS scanning”.

Thanks, will try (we can now add Netflix to sites that won’t load with AVAST active).

I have the same problem.

Neither SVT.se, SVTPLAY.SE, NETFLIX.COM loads unless I deactivate Avast.

UNTICKING the box allowing HTTPS scanning does NOT help.

I cannot even load AVAST OWN WEBSITE to enter MY ACCOUNT!

I can confirm Avast has broken all these mentioned site when having it on. I can also add Microsoft Store on the list. This also goes for the mentioned sites apps from Microsoft store, not sure if it is related to that Microsoft store does not work.

Why would i want to disable security features? Are you joking? Fix it instead.
