Even thought this has nothing to do with any problems with avast and could not be any more happy with it i saw that symantec bought sygate and was wondering if anyone knew if they would start charging for there free firewall i used kerio free but it is being discontinued and if symantec is going to start charging money for sygate personal then what is a good free firewall that works well with avast.
Firewalls don’t tend to change that quickly so your existing sygate or kerio would be fine for some time. Enough to find another firewall should Symantec start charging for a sygate copy/style firewall. There are a number of firewall threads on the forums.
