in the last couple of scans I have done my anti-virus comes up with this trojan but all of the google searches that I have done seem to suggest that i need these drivers to run my pc … can you offer any help please

Try scanning your computer with a arsenal of Malware removers like these

This should be a valid driver for Via Raid and this could be a false positive.

What anti-virus is detecting this as a trojan?
