I keep getting a virus warning for something called target.exe … My protection says the file was quarantined and then it advises that I run a boottime scan. Well, I did.
Then, I get the very same message five minutes after I came back (several hours later).
Anyone know what I am talking about and how to fix it?

Why have you blocked Ubisoft IP via Hosts file?

Step #1 Fix with FRST
Make sure that you still have FRST.exe on your Desktop. If you do not have it, download the suitable version from here to your Desktop.

Open Notepad.exe. Do not use any other text editor software;

Copy and Paste the contents inside the code-box to your Notepad –

Click on File > Save as…

Inside the File Name box type fixlist.txt

From the Save as type drop down list, choose All Files

Save the file to your Desktop;

Re-run FRST.exe and click Fix;

Note: If FRST advises there is a new updated version to be downloaded, do so/allow this.[]After the completion, a log will be produced;
[]Attach the log in your next reply.
Ran into a slight glitch … turned out my usb didn’t have enough room for my backup, so I had to abort it because the FRST wanted to reboot.
I’ll do it overnight tonight on a clean usb stick.
First, it didn’t save to the fixlist.txt I created. Instead, it created a next document called Fixlog.txt. After a few minutes, the fixlist.txt document disappeared.
Second, my monitor is now unresponsive… It says “1. Auto Select(Digital)” on the screen and the menu isn’t accessible.
