Why doesn’t find avast! this virus?
I have the latest update 0532-3
But my scanner doesn’t recognize this virus.
Even Clamwin with an outdated update did find it.
Please explain why…

Every av detects things another doesn’t.
This has been explained many times before on this board.
Please use the search option before asking.
If you think you have found something that Avast doesn’t recognizes,
or found something that Avast falsly identifies:
Submit the file in a password protected zip to virus.avast.com
Mention in the body the password and why you think it should be added/fixed.
If something is detected or not also depends on your settings.
It should be detected now, I hope.
VPS 532-5, but it doesn’t detect it.
Now it does detect it here.
Thanks people.
Thanks Alwil team for the effort on detection
Thanks Igor & Alwil for the fast update to the VPS… just tonight I received 4 emails that were infected with this virus… Avast detected it, and saved me from getting infected ;D
