help
can i tell avast to ignore this file?
this happened after i updated your avast program to 4.6.598

this was an issue with TeamSpeak and Norton a few months ago, it proved to be a false positive. i am having the same now and waiting for avast to confirm, then fix. ;D

isn’t there a way to ignore this file?

ok Duh!
I Found the way to ignore file
OK Avast plz fix this error on your program
you can go to teamspeak.org to see on their main page thier statement on this problem

I can confirm this set off a false positive on my system today after the latest update. I goofed and did something wrong and had to reinstall Teamspeak…

So When are the admins going to respond to this question

  1. you can’t use Team speak when the servers you go on are using Team speak 2.
  2. is keypress.dll a virus, Trojan, malware?
  3. if not when are you going to fix the false positive?

It looks like TeamSpeak has solved it.

EDIT:
It was not only Avast who detected it as malware. Other av software did also.

Hi EvilKnight,

If you feel avast is detecting this as a false positive, please send the “keypress.dll” to virus@avast.com in a password protected zip/rar file.

Mention in the body text of the email that you feel it is a false positive, and also mention the password to open the password archived file.
Also mention any other info you feel is relevent.
