I plan to do a test avast! 5 (free version) on emerging threats
My test is very simple I’m trying avast on a series of URLs that are released on the same day or the hour to see the reactivity of avast.
I leave well on all the default settings.
I’d do that in the week

I tested avast fast it looks really good
and it is obviously installed on my pc

I admire anyone who can write in a language not their own. It is one thing to speak a second language more difficult to write. So I can put up with any minor issues, after all this is a support forum and not a school ;D

As it says it is a support forum were we might learn about avast, but we aren’t tested on our use of English when seeking such support.
off topic: English’s still the best choice… admitted world wide as an international language, and suits (but not restricted to ;D ) computer stuff quite well. Just as an example I never run a French version of Windows, I’d hate it. When I see Windows in French I start to laugh 
… well I did when I first saw that…they’ve improved it in the meantime, ie since Windows 3.1.

I have a malware collection, I collected the samples from different sites, I also collect every file Avast or any other AV detects in the PCs I scan from my costumers.
I have done a test with AIS 5 and it did pretty good, unfortunately I didn’t take any screenie, nor do I have a report. I’ve sent the udndetected files to avast from the virus chest.
Now let us wait for the On-demand test by AV-Comparatives that will take place somewhere this month.

Today I’m going to try avast version 5
In this new version everything has changed I said well everything!
New interface that is futuristic, simple interface, new voice, improvements of all shields
more addition agent shield suspicious actions (heuristic) … avast is much lighter and annoy
when it finds a virus eg we do not demand that he removes or quarantines!
I leave all the default options

Avast is blocking access to the site!
2 link operating fault
Avast is blocking access to the site
3 Link + feat site compromised
Avast is blocking access to the site
4 link fake security scanner + Worm Koobface
Avast is blocking the site
5 link another fake security scanner
This time avast does not detect anything and security tool installs without problem
6 feat link
Avast is blocking the site
7 link spyware trojan
Avast has blocked downloads
8 trojan link
The browser (Google chrome) blocked but avast has stopped the trojan!
Now I run a small quick scan with avast to see if there is something
Avast didn’t find anything
Review avast difficulties on rogues, but it is very good at all! stable see a pretty simple lol

Me too I won’t make bad use of it so pm me if possible I’ll try it if avast is willing to install in my stupid old pc and if my pc still agree to turn on ;D

Be warned all sites that come up are infected, take care.
For the rogue you can send it to the chest and report it as a virus. So they can improve our detection. 
Its a very easy way to report and also very fast.
