There is a pain-in-the-neck intrusive malware or worm or something that creates hot-link advertising on certain key words when i visit websites (even my own website). It is caused by an outfit called “Enhanced Text.com”. When I Googled for a solution, the only advice is that it is computer-driven (not the websites) and one suggestion is to go to my Add-Ons (I use Internet Explorer) and delete it there – but it ISN’T there to delete!!
I have the Pro version of Avast – and it does not show up on a scan – if it is imbedded in my Windows Resgistry I have no clue how to purge it. I tried going to the website of these “clowns” that are responsible for this (Text.Enhance.com) but I get nowhere.
If it IS malware, how did it get past Avast – which has been so fantastic for me these years?
Please respond if you have advice how to (1) get rid of this problem and (2) who to complain to about how these type of companies that cause these “invasions”?
Well I have still not heard about a solution to purge this thing whatever it is. Thanks Pondus, but that link is nothing more than another Malware “promise” that didn’t work either.

Now disable the Game Play and the problem should disappear. It could also have come with other recently adware bundled software,
