Oké, na ruim twee weken op antwoord te hebben gewacht heb ik nog altijd géén antwoord op mijn functionele vraag. Wel kreeg ik tips over hoe je Nederlands naar Engels vertaald en een niet erg actief Nederlands forum.
Avast is wat mij betreft een onoverzichtelijk en onduidelijk programma wat vooral vol zit met (reclame voor) zichzelf. Functionele hulp wordt duidelijk niet geboden.
Ook op mijn vraag naar onvindbare bestanden in quarantaine (‘Quarantine not updating with new files‘, in het Engels) is nog geen enkele reactie gegeven. Die bestanden zijn dus gewoon verdwenen!
Het voelt alsof ik juist met Avast juist een gillend virus op mijn pc geïnstalleerd heb!
Dus heb ik deze gratis ‘gillende’ versie van mijn pc’s verwijderd. Er is vast een betere virusscanner te vinden die haar werk ook gratis doet, wel duidelijk is in wat het doet èn ondersteuning levert.

Engelse vertaling/English translation
Okay, after waiting for a reply for over two weeks, I still haven’t received any answer to my functional question. I did however got tips on how to translate Dutch to English and a not so active Dutch forum.
As far as I’m concerned, Avast is a disorganised and unclear program that is mostly full of (advertisement for) itself. Functional help is clearly not being offered.
There has also been no response whatsoever to my question about unfindable files in quarantine (‘Quarantine not updating with new files‘, asked in English). So those files have simply disappeared!
It feels like I actually installed a screaming virus on my PC by using Avast!
So I have removed this free ‘screaming’ version from my PC’s. Surely there is a better virus scanner to be found that does its job for free, is clear about what is does and actually provides support.
@Rundvleeskroket and @DavidR thanks for your Dutch-English support. Unfortunately, no answer to my functional question.
