Hi,
It’s been a while since avast suggested that I download and buy the license for driver management.
I finally bought it, and as soon as I installed it, it gave me a list of drivers to update. This I did, after reading the documentation.
The documentation indicates that a restore point is systematically generated by avast and that the old drivers can be recovered if a malfunction occurs.
Since I carried out this update, my PC shuts itself down, displaying the blue Windows bug, and then turns itself back on. It seems to do this at regular intervals, about every 5 minutes.
So it’s hard to do anything before the restart takes place.
What’s more, Avast hasn’t created any restore points and nowhere, as indicated in their tutorial, does it offer me the option of recovering a previous version.
So I have no way of managing this from this update.
Worse still, I’ve tried an older restore point but unfortunately the PC performs a reboot which completely stops the restore process.
secure connection to servers.
So I can’t take data from the Windows installation partition. However (I’m more of a linux user and I’m not necessarily familiar with Windows), if you have a procedure for repairing this type of malfunction, I’d love to hear about it.
Would you have a solution and/or do you know which e-mail address I can use to contact the front-end technical team quickly? Unfortunately, I’m travelling internationally and my PC, as a developer, is my only secure connection point.
