I am starting to wonder why I bothered to install Avast in the first place. For the last 6 or so weeks I have been getting 20 to 30 e-mails with the following rubbish every day. I have removed the links on here so nobody can make a mistake with them. I am thinking I might have to get a new e-mail address, but that would be a big challenge just to tell everybody.
HELP.

Does not your spam filter get them?
If not report them as spam, most mail accounts have a report spam button … you may need to access you mail account from web using your browser to do it

There should be info about how in your mail account FAQ

Not sure how this is avast! related. You do know people can place your e-mail into various forms that don’t require confirmation and then you get garbage like this. Some are done by bots crawling for e-mails to spam. Spam filters are usually self learning, the more you teach them to classify spam, the better they’ll be at doing that. That also includes avast! ant-spam if you’re using it.

  • emails can also be harvested from infected computers email address book. It is possible that someone that you have communicated with is infected.

You also don’t say what avast version you have as there isn’t a Spam filter in the free version (which I use and no mass email spam here).
