Looks like you are using a old(er) version of avast.

I don’t see anything other than “2015”, which is a problem in itself. Any program should clearly identify the version running. I can’t find that information anywhere.
It was installed only a couple of weeks ago - oldest entry in scan history if from 4/24.
Uninstalling and re-installing already?
If this happens again, I would rather go to another AV program.
This one definitely has bugs.
It is real easy to see what version you have.
Right click the avast icon near the clock and choose about.
i have also had this issue. from what I could tell, it can be reproduced on my machine after the scheduled task wakes my computer from sleep to run a scan. after the scan, it goes back to sleep after X amount of minutes. waking the machine results in the avast UI being in focus, with the message “threat detected” being displayed. however, the machine is clean, and the log produces no information of any threats.
To see what version of Avast program you have. At the bottom right hand corner right click on avast>click on avast. You will see the program version you have. Latest version is 2015.10.2.2218. If you don’t have this version, follow the instruction made by Eddy’s first post
