To desactivate/remove update notifications

Please how to remove the update notification for Avast Free Edition (this blue balloon window which appears when virus database has been automatically updated)?

Have a rummage through the avastUI and avast Settings to get to know what it holds.

From the avast Settings, Updates, scroll down to the Details section (click the inverted triangle to expand the details), you will now see options to display the box after an update, uncheck it.
