Windows 7 has fixed the autorun problem for the most part, but I’ll work on a blog entry for further restricting it.

Doesn’t Flash Disinfector sort this out? ???

I’ve never used a thumb drive, GPS, or external media device with my computer (in fact I don’t own any) but I do like how my digital camera triggers the wizard to retrieve the pictures from it’s memory card when I plug it in to a usb port and turn it on. If this patch would break that, I’m not interested. I wasn’t even aware there was a problem with the autorun feature.

So AutoRun is the same as AutoPlay? Am I already safe since I set everything in AutoPlay to “take no action”? Thank you.
