toskillindicator.exe and other processes

I checked under task manager, processes, out of curiosity to see what programs were running on my toshiba laptop (has been very slow for a couple months now).

These are all .exe processes:

I found the usual programs, adobe, avast, configfree, chrome, igfx modules, csrss processes, COM surrogate, dwm, java, realtek, spybot S&D, various microsoft, skype, various windows; including svchost processes, Synaptics and wmpnetwk

Others i know little about like NT Kernel & System, TeaTimer, TecoService, TMachInfo, TODDSrv, and various processes beginning with Tos (such as TosNcCore, TosSENotify, etc)

And one that caught my eye, beginning with tos, notice no cap T, called tosKillIndicator.exe which is under SYSTEM and using a constant 48K memory

If anyone could tell me if the processes like NT Kernel…, etc are safe or malicious/viruses, and especially the tosKillIndicator (since, having researched in on about 10 different sites, 3 said it was safe, 7 said it was an terrible virus to have) and I need more information before I take action.
If I do need to get rid of some of these .exe files, if anyone would please tell me how to as well, as Avast doesn’t seem to pick it up

Thank you, C.

Also forgot to mention, and not sure if it has anything to do with any processes going on or if it’s a complete other topic, however, my Shockwave Flash is constantly, with emphasis, crashing, i could be watching 1 youtube video, and have nothing else on my laptop open, and it’ll crash.

Thanks to anyone able to fix my problems,
Thank you again, C.
