transfer license to new computer

Hello,
I am presently buying a new laptop with windows 8. I currently have avast internet security installed on my desktop with XP. can i transfer my license to the new computer (windows 8) and just get the free avast installed on my XP computer? I still have (1) year left on my license for avast.

Sure, install avast on the new system (after removing any preinstalled av) and use the current license file.

Yes. Uninstall IS on XP, intall it on W8.1.
You can install free avast! on XP afterwards.
