How to transfer passwords to new computer in Avast Free Antivirus?

Make sure you use the same user account and when you install Avast
choose Customize and select Passwords (Old) before the installation.

Well, I spoke too soon. This did not work. I did as you said during the installation, but my passwords from old computer are not there. What now?

Under settings > Privacy
have you selected Show Avast Passwords?

Yes, I did that before I re-contacted you - still no passwords.

Did you sign into your account which would trigger sending you a code
to your email account. Once entered, you should see your passwords.

Hi,

You do not seem to have a cloud backup of your Avast Passwords data. You will need to access the “old” computer and do one of the following:
A: Synchronizing Avast Passwords data - https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/synchronize-passwords-across-devices/
B: Export Avast Passwords data to file and on the new computer IMPORT FROM FILE
