Hi, I’m new to this forum. I have just started getting a malware warning message (4 actually) each time i open a browser (IE or Firefox). The warning says a threat has been detected: URL http://transfercom.net/collection/00000056/59903F01 and that this is malware.
I have done complete boot time scan which found some low risk bits which are now gone but still get this message each time I open a browser. There doesn’t seem to be a lot about it by googling. Can anyone advise / help please?
Thanks for the reply. I did the Malwarebytes bit and it found 92 issues 2 were trojans. Strange that Avast’s scan didn’t pick these issues up. I saved the issues to quarantine - should I now delete them?
I obviously used my browser to post this reply and the ‘transfercom.net’ malware alert has now gone. I have attached the logs from Malwarebytes for interest (!).
I think running that software has done the trick - many thanks for your advice.
