Due to problems using the email shield (I’ve given up on this for now), I turned the shield off. I now have the tray icon showing the sphere with a triangle containing an “i” in front of it. The sphere does not spin as it checks things. All the other aspects of the program are still running normally, correct? Just making sure 
Open the SimpleUI…go top right hand corner and click on “settings”…when that opens scroll down the menu in the left hand pane until you get to “status bar”…when that opens and in the right hand pane, take the check mark out of the mail shield box…click ok.
The mail shield will not now be monitored by the systray icon which icon will return to normal ( and spin).
Question related to the avast tray icon: is it ok (normal) if the color is red? (using the avast 5.0, just downloaded)I mean everything else seem normal, running ok. It say that my system is secured.

The tray icon is Orange with a white modern style a in the middle, see image.
