Pest Patrol has a free one-year trial available:
DO NOT REMOVE ACTSKIN4.OCX: This is a component of avast! and a false positive.
wow thanks very much for the quick response.
i shall try pest patrol.
CHEERS!
No problem. It must be easier than rooting through the registry.
Just watch out for that false positive!
Pest Patrol has a “tendency” of giving false positive(s)
which is why many recommend NOT using that program .
A very deep tendency for sure… I gave up testing Pest Patrol that promisse much more than can do or realy do.
Too much detection just for advertisement… ![]()
hey
what are false positives?
Clean files (or objects) that were detected as being infected (viruses) due to a lack or problem into the virus signatures of some antivirus application. So, you think they’re viruses (positives) but they’re not (false).
