Trying to register

I am trying to register via the UI.
Nothing happens,It says "Retrieving Information,Please wait"so i wait and then nothing happens
I have done it many times before quite successfully but this time it didn’t work which seems very strange.
Advice would be appreciated.

Problem sorted.
I got a key from Avast via email.Inserted key.
Is this a new feature for registration?
Before when i have done it you just clicked on “Register Now” filled in the form and you were registered

Nothing has changed in the registration process so dont know why your’s would not do it. You also need to hide your email unless you want to be spammed.

There seems to be a problem with server because i’m having the same problem since yesterday evening. Retrieving information, please wait and then nothing happens where i used to get registration form.

Now that your issue is resolved/fixed, please go back to the first open post in this topic, click the modify button in that Post and change the title/subject, add [Resolved] to the beginning of the title so this thread can be closed.

The issue is NOT resolved. Doing it the manual way solves nothing if the usual route doesn’t work.

I also have this problem, in that I cannot re-register via the UI.

The usual route does work, at least it did last week…
If this is a server issue, we maybe have to wait a bit…???

Edit: Just in case - be sure your FW doesn’t block AvastUI.exe

Windows Firewall doesn’t block anything in avast!. And this started happening yesterday evening (at least taht’s when i noticed it).

This problem doesn’t seem to be fixed. I installed Avast Free yesterday and have been unable to register directly. Yesterday, I would just get a blank pop up. This morning I get to fill the form in all the way. When I click ‘register’ I get a pop-up telling me ‘Please complete the following form’.

So, just complete the form, that’s how it works… :wink:

Seems I forgot to include the part where it says ‘Complete the form’ after I completed the form.

If you still have problems use the offline registration…!!
