Here are shots of the F at intellicast and Amazon. They do appear other places too. When you passover the window they change to > and can be clicked on.
Thanks
That looks like the facebook insignia, do you use facebook ?
No - I’m not even registered on Facebook - The F’s for facebook requests for Likes etc that I see on my computer on sites do not have the bottom curl and are straight up and down ( f not f )
When the F shown in the Weather Forecast example is passed over the F turns to a > in the circle and clicking on it nets a Graph of the Weather Trend.
On the Amazon Example it shows an Ad for a Product.
I will try re-enabling java and see if the F remains - will have time maybe overnight.
I do not recall seeing these F’s until last week.
Thanks
If it remains could you run a quick OTL scan for me to have a shufti at… Does this occur in all browsers
Only happens in Firefox.
I tried Chrome and IE which are secondary for me.
?? F as in Firefox ??
Thanks – I’m back to Work now – will report later
I have found that my F is for Adobe FLASH display items. My Adobe is all Updated.
I have not had time to try to figure out Why it makes me click on it not to see it but at least its not indicative of a Malware or Virus problem. It started about the same time as I disabled Java. Only happens in Firefox – Not Chrome or IE.
So it looks like we are good ? Thanks for all the help. You are Much Appreciated !!
Glad you sussed that as it was intriguing me ![]()
