Hello,
I have just updated Avast to v2015.10.2.2214, and two instances of AvastUI.exe are running on my system (Windows 7).
Is that expected?
I’d appreciate your help.

Yes, it is a slight change in how the GUI functions. There was a post from Avast about it somewhere, but I can’t find it now
Hello essexboy,
Thank you so much for the immediate reply. I really appreciate it.
Best regards.
Hello Rednose,
Thank you too. It’s really nice of you.
Best regards.
I was just going to post the same issue. The update went smoothly from Avast update, with a few clunks, but after several reboots it seems ok, other then this second AvastUI.
Since this is normal as you say-- will there always be 2 UI, or is this a minor buggy that will be fixed. With both of them running, they’re hogging my CPU.
I noticed in XP still only one instance of AvastUI.exe.
Is this working as designed ?
