UI problem avast

Hi After updating to to Windows build 1803 on 4/29/18, avast free antivirus is constantly giving me the message UI failed to start. I have tried to restart the remote desktop like 5 times already and the problem keeps reoccuring. Thoughtr I would try
AVG free and had the same problem. I’ve used Avast free for 4 years already and dont want to switch. Right now I have uninstalled it. Is there a fix for this ?
Or do i go and get a new antivirus app.

Also will turning off the real time protection from Windows Defender make any kind of a difference, I’m thinking no.
I have avast on my laptop with no problem but that runs windows 7 and I have it on a another pc and that one is windows 10 and running with no problem. Only difference on the 2 desktops is one is Intel pentium chip and one is AMD Athlon dual core chip. The AMD computer is the problem one. Both desktops are HP desktops
