Unable to download and install MS Updates since the last Avast Updater

Hi Avast,

Since the last auto update from Avast, I am no longer able to download and install any updates from Microsoft on my PC. Prior to the last release, I was able to download and update without a problem. Please help me understand what has changed and how to enable installations. My operating system is Microsoft Vista Business.

Try running this tool:
https://rejzor.wordpress.com/2016/11/11/windows-update-cache-cleaner/

Then run Windows Update again. I’ve had issues with updates as well, but this method fixed it. Give it a try.
