Unable to install Avast Cleanup Premium on MacBook OSSequoia 15.1.1

.: I subscribe to a number of Avast products, including: Avast Ultimate (Multi Device,) which includes Avast Cleanup Premium (ACP). In my Applications folder, there is AvastCleanup.app, which doesn’t appear to be running, and the size is 125.9 MB. When I download and install ACP, it says it has been installed successfully, but when I return to my Applications folder, AvastCleanup.app remains there with a new install date and time. I’ve tried trashing that .app and reinstalling ACP, but it just returns AvastClean.app to the folder. Worse, it won’t run.

Within the “Subscriptions on this Mac” section of Avast Premium Security app, ACP appears with a green INSTALL button. Clicking on that results in the green INSTALL button changing to “Activating.” When complete, it returns the word “Activated” with a green checkmark that lasts about 1 nanosecond before return to the original green INSTALL button. Or: It says it’s “Activating” and a small semi-circle rotates indefinitely with no other response, and has been at that state for hours.

Does anyone have any idea why I am unable to install Avast Premium Cleanup? Thanks in advance for any guidance or help you can provide.

Same thing here - Mac Laptop Sequoia 15.3.1 - Avast is my antivirus - and no problems with other Avast products. After installing (which goes normally without errors and deleting the package install file) - I see the app icon in my Launchpad folder - and when I double click I get a dialog box with "The application “AvastCleanup.app” is not open anymore. If I retrieve the package install file and restore it - when I click on the app icon and nothing happens. If I go directly to the .app in the Applications folder - again, nothing. Help?
