Hi, try to uninstall and reinstall the app, should help.
You can also try this:
- uninstall the app
- turn the device off and back on (to reset background processes)
- re-install the app from Google play
- open the Avast Mobile Security app
- tap the “three-lines icon” in the upper left corner to bring the menu
- in the menu roll down and tap on “Avast Account”
- select exactly the same method for login you use on the page https://my.avast.com (Login with Google, Facebook, or E-mail)
- follow on-screen instructions to link the app to your My Avast Account

Hi Bijin, have you tried the procedure from Reply #2? It is important to go through all its steps, including turning the device off and on again after uninstalling the app.

What form of login do you use? (E-mail, Google, Facebook)

Yes… from both mobile & PC browser
Then try this, please:
- uninstall ALL Avast apps (remove the Avast Antivirus from Device Administrators first)
- check there is no “Avast” in your device Settings → Accounts
- remove the device from the Avast My Account
- only then install the Avast apps back and log them back in the My Account
