Hi everyone,
My internet explorer was infected by spyware/malware last 2 weeks.
Right click to refresh at desktop will auto start internet explorer and visit a site.
if you check in the Task Manager, you found more than 10 iexplorer.exe running there but only show 1 windows in desktop.
It has lock my permission to modify the IE setting under registry editor too. after i remove the permission. the next day i restart my computer and found my quick launch at taskbar has missing. and it unable to pin back again due to right click panel only show “Close Windows” on my chrome or firefox…
i hope someone expert can help me since i has tried these few program but unable to fix it too:
Advance SystemCare 3
Up-to-Date Avast antivirus
Spyware terminator
CCleaner
& restoration on IE (Master Reset)
i’ll appreciate much if someone could help me here.

The one thing that you fail to mention is the version of IE that you are using ?
Later versions of IE8 don’t just have one occurrence of iexplore.exe running, since it is a multi tabbed browser it runs each browser tab as a separate occurrence. Yes only 1 windows, but if you have multiple tabs open you will have multiple occurrences of iexplore.exe shown in the task manager. So did you have multiple tabs open in that IE Window ?
I suggest you remove your email from your post to prevent it from being harvested by a spambot, not only that we handle the help requests made on the forums within the forums and not by email.
