unable to scan cab file corrupted

I’ve done a thorough scan a few times and this keeps showing up:

Unable to scan cab file corrupted, the path is

C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\EBTMDIQK\avvdat[1].cab\avvscan.dat

what is this and should I be worried? How do I fix it or can I delete it? I can’t even find it in Windows Explorer actually, I get as far as the second Windows in the path and that’s it, there’s no Temporary Internet Files; weird.

It also lists unable to scan a bunch of D drive paths because they’re password protected; I’m assuming that’s my restore data, no prob there, right?

I’m using Vista Home Basic

Hi ViciousSilhouette,

I think IE temp files are hidden. You can clean them out using CCleaner:

Restore files are not password protected: they may be files belonging to a program like Ad-Aware or similar.
