I had an Avast update on Thursday and since the, Widnows is not able to start
I used some debug mode to see what is happenning and the system freezes when (or just after) loading the file c:\Winows\System32\Drivers\aswRvrt.sys
Can anyone know how to fix the issue ? Or maybe if I can find old version of the files and fixe the computer manually ? (I gave a linux livecd so I can access the operating system files)
Alternatively, getting ride of Avast at startup is also fine by me. In fact I’m looking for any solution that does not involve reinstalling the operating system
