Uninstall version 7 and install version 6

Hi all:

I use Avast and recently I updated to version 7. I use a juniper VPN software that validates antivirus and it seems that it is not accepting this new version, so I need to go back to the previous one. I got the previous 6 version, but it detects that it is not the lastest version and tries to download the last version. I’ve tried by disconnecting from the net and it gives an installation error. I also run acwclear and it removed the last traces, but still it tries to go to internet to download the last version.

Is there anything I can do?

Try to switch back your system date 6 months before installing and disconnect from the internet.

Don’t forget to set the programs update to manual.
Although, all of this should be avoided and you should be able to use the latest version 7 if you set avast! exclusions properly.
