Does anyone know of a way to uninstall the product either using group policy, batch file, or script?
Unless you can disable the self defense (which can be done through the console) it can’t be done. If your clients are communicating with the console however, you might as well just use the console to uninstall it.
How do you disable the self defense?
I believe you will want to uncheck the ‘Enable avast! self-defense module’(pictured in the attachment) for your computer group(s) that you want it disabled on.
However, as pointed out above, if you’re able to see and manage the computers from the EAC, you might as well run the uninstall from the console instead of through GPO/batch file.
