I noticed that it is not possible to uninstall Avast!4.1 directly from Windows Xp…
It needs to run the Installation program of Avast!4.1 and choice the uninstallation option!
Why???

What does it do (doesn’t do)? Is it subject just to italian version?
I think I had a trojan or something like that in my system…I don’t know if it was an Italian version topic only!
Could you try that for me? I don’t want uninstall my avast! now!!! ;D
I need to know what it does for you when you click on avast in Add/Remove programs. What error messages or something.

Never mind! I solved the problem! There was something wrong in my Win Xp system…
I formatted my hard disk and reinstalled it!
