Uninstalling SecureLine

Hello,

I have Avast Free Antivirus and I also had the SecureLine VPN installed. I wanted to uninstall the VPN, but instead of doing so through the recommended process (through the Antivirus app), I uninstalled it directly through the Windows settings, as a separate program. I wanted to ask, just to be sure - is the Antivirus itself safe and sound or is there a possibility that I messed its installation up somehow, by meddling with the VPN incorrectly?
